1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using CV Kloud, you agree to these terms, together with our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. We may update these terms from time to time -- see Section 17.

2. What CV Kloud is

CV Kloud lets you build a resume from scratch with AI guidance, or upload an existing resume to have it extracted into an editable format, then choose from a range of templates and export a finished PDF. Your resume is private to your account -- we don't publish it, make it visible to other users, or share it with employers, agencies, or institutions.

3. Eligibility and age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may only use CV Kloud with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. Creating an account with false information, or on behalf of someone else without their authorisation, is a violation of these terms.

4. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account and building your resume.
  • You must be legally permitted to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction.
  • We may suspend or restrict an account if we reasonably suspect the information provided is false, or that the account is being misused.

5. AI-generated content

Our AI features help draft, extract, and improve resume content, but they can occasionally get something wrong -- a date, a detail, or a phrase that doesn't quite fit. You're responsible for reviewing everything the AI produces before using it, and for making sure your resume is accurate. We don't guarantee that using CV Kloud will result in interview invitations or job offers.

6. Plans and usage limits

Free accounts include a monthly limit on new resumes; paid plans raise that limit. We may adjust plan limits and pricing going forward, and we'll do our best to give you notice before changes that affect you directly.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use CV Kloud to create resumes containing false credentials, qualifications, or work history you claim as fact to a third party.
  • Upload files you don't have the right to use, or that contain someone else's personal information without their consent.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service, including its AI or file-upload features.
  • Use automated tools -- scraping, crawling, bots, or similar -- to access the service or extract data from it, or attempt to probe or bypass its security.
  • Use CV Kloud to build a competing resume-building product or service.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the resume content you create. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the service to you -- rendering previews, generating your PDF, and running the AI features you choose to use. We don't publish your content, make it visible to other users, or grant ourselves any broader license to use it beyond providing the service to you.

9. Our intellectual property

Aside from your own resume content, CV Kloud's templates, software, design, AI prompts, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them to build and export your own resume. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or create a derivative product from our templates, software, or branding.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep CV Kloud available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

CV Kloud is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components, or that any particular outcome (such as a job offer) will result from using it.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CV Kloud and its owners, directors, and employees won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or from reliance on any content it produces. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with CV Kloud is to stop using it.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold CV Kloud and its owners, directors, and employees harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

14. Links to other sites

CV Kloud may link to third-party sites (such as Google, for sign-in) for your convenience. We aren't responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of any site we don't operate.

15. Compliance with laws and lawful disclosure

You're responsible for using CV Kloud in accordance with applicable law. We may access, preserve, or disclose your information where we reasonably believe it's required by law, a court order, or a government authority, or necessary to investigate misuse of the service or protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

16. Ending your account

You can stop using CV Kloud and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. You agree that the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

18. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of CV Kloud after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

19. Privacy

These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
